Spare Change

September 10th, 2006 at 10:48 pm

Today was beautiful outside. Had alot to do around the house. Laundry the floors, etc.
Went to go and visit Mom today. Still doesn't look and sound that well. She is recovering from walking pneumonia. I told her to call her Doc. tomorrow but she said that she will wait until her scheduled appointment on Thursday. You know you can lead a horse Blah, blah blah...I just hope she is okay.
I was happily surprised to find that I was able to roll $60.00 in chage today. Now I only hope that my bank doesn't give me a hard time taking the rolled coin.

Definately depends on the bank. This has been my experience, you might not have these banks so it might not matter:

Wells Fargo, will ask you to unroll it so they can put it through their coin sorter
Bank Of America, will take rolled coins and credit your account for how much you say is there but won't actually count it until later and any difference found between how much you said was there and what actually was there will be deducted/added to your account.
Washington Mutual, isn't a merchant bank, won't take lots of loose coins, don't know about rolls.
